The City of Thunder Bay boasts seven golf courses with a total of 99 holes with settings that range from rolling green hills to parks to the magnificent towering cliffs along the Nor'Wester Mountains.

In Terrace Bay, a lakeside course with new clubhouse facilities offers incredible views of Lake Superior and there is more great scenery on the links of the Manitouwadge course and the Peninsula Golf Course in Marathon. Nipigon's nine holes are surrounded by mountains and trees and Geraldton boasts 18 beautiful holes of challenging golf for all levels.

The Kenogamisis Golf Club is situated along the picturesque shores of Kenogamisis Lake in Geraldton, Ontario, Canada located at the junction of Highways 11 and 584. Only 270 Km Northeast of Thunder Bay, this community of approximately 2,600 people features a golf club with a rare blend of 18 holes designed by both Stanley Thompson and Les Furber. The Front 9 (Thompson Course) was built in 1938, while the additional Back 9 holes (Furber Course) were added in the year 2000.

| North Shore Golf Club | | This is golf in North of Superior, where beautiful and challenging golf courses lie nestled in a backdrop of spectacular scenery. The fairways at North Shore are all natural grasses, wide and gently rolling, allowing golfers lots of room to play the game. You will encounter natural rock formations and a nice selection of man-made bunkers, such as ponds and sand traps. You will be playing on what are known to be some of the finest bent grass greens on the North Shore.

| White Water Golf Club | | Nestled between the soothing Kaministiquia River and the tranquil Rosslyn Oxbow Wetland, Whitewaters existing 18-holes are framed through towering poplar and Jack Pine groves. The par-36 Forest and River Courses start and return at the modest clubhouse. Measured together, the par-72 layout plays 5,584-yards from the forward tees, 6,265-yards from the White tees, 6,792 from the Blue tees and 7,293-yards from the tips or the Gold tees.
