We walked around the deck and enjoyed the veiw, a modern style and a
welcome break from camping.

While we'd fished the Armstrong area since 1998, we'd not hunted there before. We both saw numerous bear; the baited stand areas were well planned out, and very productive. Their accommodations were comfortable, convenient, and next to outstanding Walleye fishing during the down time. The ONLY reason we've not returned is that Eric has spent the summers since guiding Salmon fishing in Alaska. We plan on returning once I finish school. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting an authentic 'bush experience' with professional people!

It has been 9 years since my last visit to the lake and resort. My parents and some people from Iowa City started comming there in the 1960's, before there were good roads to the lake. Dad and I came fishing there for years, the last time when he was 88 years young. I am interested in comming up there to refresh the memories and spend time fishing.

I love staying at Gloria's Motel - not just because it is a prime location on the highway, and the lake is right there (perfect for swimming, seasonal fishing, boating etc.), the rates are great, but also (and mostly) because I love my In Laws!!
