Fishing Regulations
Ontario's fishing regulations have been developed by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources to ensure that our bounty of fish is always available for all to enjoy. Some lakes may have slot sizes or possession limits that are different from what is in the general regulations so always check for any exceptions. Since you may meet a Conservation Officer, you need to always have your fishing license ready for presentation.

There are outdoor card requirements for non-residents effective January 2009. The Outdoors Card will be required to purchase an Ontario Fishing or Hunting licence, except for a one-day licence. Click here for additional information.
