Fishing tournaments and derbies are how we celebrate our amazing bounty of fish. Take part in the fun of the Nipigon Fall Fishing Festival and the Thunder Bay Salmon Derby-just for starters.  For some friendly competition and a whole lot of fun, check out our schedule of these great events.

2011 Fish for Life Derby

The Kidney Foundatin, Northern Superior Chapter is holding its second annual Fish for Life Derby Sunday at Lake Shebandowan at Malcolm's Landing (Shelter Bay Road). Chance to win $1000 cash prize for biggest fish caught along with many other great prizes for both adults and youth. Tickets are available at D & R Sporting Goods and Malcolm's Landing $30 for adults $15 for youth. For more information call Riley at 624-2680

Nipigon Fall Fishing FestivalJoin us for the Nipigon Fall Fishing Festival, the longest running festival on the north shore of Lake Superior. Planned events include:
