Cross Country Skiing
Cross-country ski trails, usually complimented by community clubs and chalet facilities, are found throughout the North of Superior Region in Neebing, Kakabeka Falls, Thunder Bay, Nipigon, Geraldton, Longlac, Schreiber, Terrace Bay, Marathon and Manitouwadge. Networks of groomed trails lead skiiers through spectacular wilderness settings.
Each March, Sleeping Giant Provincial Park is home to the annual Sibley Ski Tour which attracts over 800 participants from around the world
