Moose Hunting
Moose are among the continent's largest mammals and here in North of Superior country, we have some of the "largest of the large"! Visit anytime from mid-September to mid-November for your chance to bag a trophy moose crowned with massive antlers. The region is full of their favourite habitat: swampland, river and lake shores and logging clearings. Individual operators receive a tag allocation for non-resident hunters.

Walleye, northern, speckled trout and perch are abundant in the outpost lakes. We are fortunate to have a truly fantastic fishery north of Nakina, with many walleye weighing in at six pounds and more. Trophy northern tip the scales at 25 pounds plus, with the elusive speckled trout measuring 20 inches. If it is the great grey (lake trout) that you are after, these brutes can be found at the lodge on Kaganagiami Lake. The largest to date has been a thirty-two pounder. | | |
