From the beginning, much time and energy was spent on research and development. The focus was on trying to find materials and a resin and stiffening system that would produce an incredibly lightweight and tough canoe. Like all good research work, the process has required a great deal of time, patience and perseverance but these efforts have resulted in some astonishing discoveries: the development of R.E.S. Technology, Kevlar/Epoxy, Duralight and a revolutionary Flexible Rib System for stiffening the hulls of our canoes. | | |
