Camping in Northwestern Ontario

Northwestern Ontario is the home to some of the best camping experiences in the world. Perfect for family getaways, fishing trips and getting back to your roots in the raw, rugged natural surroundings of the Boreal forest.

Provincial Parks are a great place to experience the protected natural environment. Some of our favourite parks are listed below

Sleeping Giant Provincial Park
Under an hour outside of Thunder Bay, Sleeping Giant Provincial Park is great for camping at the Lake Marie Louise Campground and hiking on mountain that makes up the shape of the famous Sleeping Giant. Wildlife viewing is gauranteed with deers, bears, moose and smaller animals including partridge, porkupines, skunks and more.
