| The Heart of the Harbour BIA will be giving away a trip for 2 on the Tall Ship Bounty which arrives on Wednesday, August 4. Transportation provided to Duluth where the winner will board the Bounty to stay a night in a cabin at the dock then sail from Duluth on Mon, Aug 2. Winner will have a 2nd night on board the ship as well as dinner before docking in Thunder Bay on Tues Aug 3. Ballots for this unique experience will be given out at businesses in the BIA leading up to the draw on Thurs, July 22.
In conjunction with the arrival of the Tall Ship Bounty, the Heart of the Harbour BIA is also hosting the Pirates Cove Childrens Festival on Wednesday, August 4 from 12pm 8pm. This free event is fun for pirates and mermaids alike! The Festival will be located on St. Paul Street at the corner of Red River Road and will feature a large craft area, Undersea Adventure and Pirate inflatable bouncers, entertainment, face-painters, a kids costume party and treasure hunt.
Donations to the Dew Drop Inn gratefully accepted at the Festival. There is free parking at 2 city lots the day of the event. Shuttle bus service to and from the Heart of the Harbour and the marina this day as well.
