Biking

In the Manitouwadge area, miles and miles of abandoned logging roads offer cycling adventure in the extreme and the Greenstone region also offers lots of cycling opportunities on underused trails, roads and bushland. Go to http://bikeandhike.greenstone.ca to find out more about all the opportunities in this region northeast of the City of Thunder Bay.

Mountain biking and cycling enthusiasts will love Thunder Bay's trails and roads. From hills and mountainsides to miles and miles of highways and byways, get ready for great adventure and even greater scenery.  The Thunder Bay Recreational Trail System offers 34 kilometres (21 miles) of multi-purpose recreational trails that hug rivers and lakes and take you through areas of interest.

Don't miss the Epic Adventures Mountain Bike Festival every August in Nipigon, Ontario and check out the Black Sheep Mountain Bike Club for trails and events in Thunder Bay.
