Membership Information
North of Superior Tourism Association (NOSTA) is actively involved in the marketing and development of tourism over a 60,000 square mile area in Northern Ontario, Canada. Our geographic borders stretch from the English River in the west to White Lake in the east, from the Albany River in the north to the shores of Lake Superior in the south. Our major metro area is the City of Thunder Bay, Ontario where our administrative office is located at 119 South May Street. Our main gateway location from the U.S is at the Pigeon River/Grand Portage, Minnesota border crossing just 30 minutes south of the City of Thunder on Hwy 61.
NOSTA publishes several different tourism maps and magazines annually. Currently our annual Regional Map guide and our Lake Superior Circle Tour guide are our most widely circulated publications in , both in Canada and the U.S., 40,000 Map guides and 90,000 Circle Tour guides are distributed at over 300 locations around the Great Lakes region and at provincial and state border crossing points. The guides are also distributed annually at key U.S and Canadian sport shows and we currently mail out over 3000 guides to visitor enquires we receive each year. The advertising deadline for our publications is October 15th each year and the guides are ready for distribution on January 1st each year.
